Where is the love?!?! Imagine!

Your Life Path Number is 3

Your purpose in life is to express your unique self.

You are a creative and artistic person with an interesting view on life.
Witty and outgoing, you enjoy sharing your crazy ideas with anyone who will listen.
A total social butterfly, you're the life of any party.

In love, you inspire and enchant your partner. You are often an object of fantasy and desire.

While you are very talented, you sometimes lack the ambition to put your talents in play.
And while your wit carries you a long way, you occasionally use it to mask your true feelings.
Your natural abilities can bring you all the success in the world ... if you let them

1408 weeks old

Isn't that something? I am 1408 weeks old on 08/14/2006.

Anyway, it's been a few months since my last post and boy have things been busy!!! Hopefully I will take the time to go back and fill in the details, but for now, let's keep moving on...

Yesterday, I fulfilled my childhood self's wish to have a horseback riding birthday party. The last time something like this took place was 15 years ago when I was celebrating my twelfth birthday at Claireville Ranch. Those in attendance were SS on Lacey, EG on Twobits, CL on Butterball, NT on Cheyenne, AM on Deringer(?), and myself on Greystoke.

This time I located a birthday package at Wildwood Manor Ranch which consisted of a 1-hour horseback ride, 45 minute hayride, and a birthday meal consisting of your choice of hot dogs/hamburgers or pizza, cake, and beverages. I chose the homemade pizza (pepperoni and cheese) and chocolate cake.

Sunday, August 13th was a beautiful day - sunny and warm, fairly still, and not a hint of humidity. It was the perfect day for a ride. The birthday guests this time were DJD, AEMC, KFL, LAI, MBC, and myself (JSW).

The hayride was good (what was the adjective we used in the guestbook?!?)despite the bumpiness and KFL sliding backwards on her bale of hay. I slid off my bale of hay, but none of us flew off the platform so that was good! We were led/accompanied by a loping Border Collie so that was cute.
The trail ride started off shakily with a grand total of 17 riders plus 3 guides, but turned out well once we "rode through the traffic jam." DJD was on Briar (half Arab chestnut gelding), AEMC on Trinity (Pinto mare), KFL on Cochese (Pinto gelding), LAI on Thunder (Pinto gelding), MBC on Sienna (Pinto mare), and myself on Nairobi (Pinto mare). Despite a few comments regarding flatulence (the horses, not us), it was a good time loping through open fields and scrambling through the forest.

Finally we went to the lodge for the birthday meal prepared by Pauline. The food was delicious and the cake was made in the shape of a horseshoe! I succeeded in blowing all 8 candles out in one try, i.e. no boyfriends haha!

On the way back home, MBC and I decided to stop off at the building site to check out the development of our house. After almost 20 minutes of confusion - "Our house disappeared...what's going on?!?!? - we saw our house completely framed! It was a real shocker as I had seen it approx. 3 weeks ago and there was just the foundation laid. In any case, we decided to take a peek and walk right into the house (in the dark no less) to check out the layout (and to see if it would be ready for our original closing date of today...) So it is definitely coming along. The walk-in closet looks huge and there is lots of potential...I can see it now...deck, barbecue, little Brittany puppy running around in the yard... ;-)
